Howdy,
I'm in Shanghai for 3 months now and I used to be on a descent tennis team playing in a league. If you want to hit some balls, drop me a line, I love the game.

Hi Wolfenstein or anybody else who would like to play some tennis,

I'm 27, and a pretty good player. If you like to hit, just give me a call or write me a message. My cell is 1358 5800 574.

Maybe tomorrow (Friday) or any time this week?

Cheers,
Sebastian

Hi guys! I have just received my new rackets shipped from Austria and I'd love to hit the court. Have been playing in a league back home but more on a fun level. definitely don't want to play with beginners! if anyone's interested to play pls msg me.

PS: anyone know where good courts are? I guess there are no clay courts but at least decent hard courts, I don't want to play on concrete. Puxi area much preferred.

cheers,

max

^There are many good courts in Puxi. There is one on Hongqiao Road, near Hongxu Road, where the Heineken Open used to be held. But it's important to choose one near and convenient.

Hi Daniel,
Are you organizing one next week? My son (12 yrs old) and I will be in Shanghai next Wed and stay there for about a week before we go to Beijing for the Olympics. My level is 4.0, and my son is a bit better than me. We'll take our racquets with us for the trip, but still don't know where to play. It'll be fun to meet and play with avid players in Shanghai.

Hi Kizza08 -Jonathan right?
I'm usually playing once a week at the Fuxing courts with a bunch of guys and some of them are really good. We're mostly playing doubles but sometimes even singles...It's an exclusive thing as we want to keep the level high so if you wanna join give me a text or an e-mail and I'll add you to our e-mail list.
13764550145 or linda_skrinda@hotmail.com
Jojo are you still looking for female players?
For everyone else...I'm always up for having a hit if anyone, woman or man, wanna play. As Kizza08 I'm tired of the talk and nothing to show. So please, only advanced players!
E-mail or text me if you're keen to play!
Linda

I've been trying to find high level tennis players in Shanghai, but have failed miserably. I normally play at fuxing courts as well, am flexible anywhere in Puxi. So anyone who wants to hit some balls let me know- singles or doubles- let me know.

Hi everyone... I'm new here, also in Shanghai. I'd like to buy a tennis racket since i want to play tennis again. But I noticed that the variation of rackets avail is not big enough for Wilson! Is there anyone that can recommend where to go to get more choice of rackets?!??
Thanks a bunch!!

Found my tennis racket in the mall at pudong area, it's opposite to Time Plaza, I don't know what's the name of the mall but it's written "Next" on the building... Your shoes, it might be a problem to find Smile

The mall is called Ba Bai Ban, but their selection isn't the greatest. If you really want to buy a racquet then you should go to a tennis shop. There a couple near the courts on Fuxing Zhong Lu. But the best one I've found is in Pudong by the Indoor courts at Yuanshen Stadium.

BTW Never pay the sticker price as they inflate it quite a bit, you should be able to get it at 2/3 the sticker price. I'm also talking about genuine racquets not the knock offs.
