infomercials are the best of the best of the best in terms of persuasive copy.
they are really fkng good.
some of the guys running sharp infomercials are virtually mega multi millionaires for putting together one single good script.
all of this from an avertising point of view.
jesus i am typing this on a tiny keyboard of an eee pc in the crapper. really difficult to type while sitting on the loo with the battery burning your thighs.

had lunch with the king of us infomercials back in march... really interesting man who has successfully built an empire.
for some reason though, i find there is a stigma attached with infomercial prodcuts, but people are getting over that if the product works. |

I read a bit about copywriting from guys like Dan Kennedy, John Carlton, Gary Halbert and the likes.
Did you have lunch with any of these geniuses?
The infomercials are derived from print long copy sales letters and work just as well.
Some of the headlines these guys are able to pull off are pure genius...

i'm sorry, GC. i just got excited about hump day!
freakish storm blew in last night... turned off the computer and went to sleep, which was probably a wise thing to do as i forget how potent certain drinks are in the states. two long islands and bam! out for the count.
