| Post subject: Pick up lines |
Alright guys and girls , The Fiddler decided to do some field research tomorrow night . I ask you to give me your best pick up lines ( Girls the ones they would like to hear , Guys the ones they know they worked ) . I'll learn them until tomorrow night and then try them . If I am not thrown out of the country by monday I' ll let you know if they worked ...or not ... |

you then will get a kick on ya ass
I think you should start to compliment a girl. Girls will never refuse sweet words, but make it in a blunt or flirting way.
hm.. like: You look great in that dress/jeans, watever; or what's the perfume you are wearing? |

Well technically, I said "I have to dance, because my pants are on fire". This has to be said in a sultry latin voice to be effective. It helps to also be Antonio Banderas. |

I think you'd like it, you should get lined up with something like 20 dates lasting 5 minutes each.
With those lines I can see you getting "Most requested male for a date" prize for the evening.

name time and place and you get a salty popcorn whopping
that speed dating thing at least saves you from buying a lot of drinks , having a nice long conversation to only find out that she has a boyfriend |

salty popcorn is great!
well, personally I don't appreciate the speed dating. Never believe fall in love at the first sight. Do you think you can really bump into a potential Mr/Ms Right in speed dating? Or is it me becauase I will preject much more hopes on speed dating? |

I don't think they would work, like general single events. You go there with the exception of finding someone and might end up in just looking for someone for the sake of looking . I prefer dating on coincedence... like Ivo's story or just bumping into someone nice at a bar ... |

well another definite no-no seems to be : "Nice clothes, I wonder what they'd look like on my bedroom floor" , or "I wish you'd be a door so I could bang you all day long" , "Nice legs, what time do they open" , "Is that a ladder in your stockings or the stairway to heaven ? " and so on and so on ... |

How about try this one, when they're playing with their phone:
You don't have to phone me, I'm here already
When they look stunned then they're not worth it, when puzzeled ask you who you are, you can introduce yourself and have a new friend
"你不用打电话给我,我已经到了" make them smile and you can start a conversation. Met some of my friends this way just have a look.

Or just bump into one of the ladies, appologise for your first meeting was so chaotic and offer a cup of coffee. Can make good friends this way, some of my friends in Qingdao I met this way and still have good friendship after 3 years. They'll visit me this summer in Shanghai
When taking step by step will have best result in long term. Especially when looking for friends, possible partner etc.
